Don't compromise between chemical and cut protection
Double-gloving (wearing two gloves at the same time)
Industrial settings present a range of hazards that potentially threaten worker safety. When multiple risk factors are present, there is a propensity for workers to ‘double-glove’ in situations where both cut risk and the presence of chemicals threaten safety.
This practice serves to endanger the wearer, as dexterity is easily compromised. It can also lead to worker frustration and the removal of hand protection.
